May 2019 Ipsy Glam Bag Plus

Very excited about many of the items this month! The items I received were:

I love the colors of the palette, and the blur stick is the perfect color for me!  The sheet masks are also a lot of fun.  All told, this $25 Ipsy Glam Bag Plus has a value of $159!

I normally don't post about the items I buy off of Ipsy Shopper, but this is something I just couldn't keep to myself - and it includes nail polish.

I have been wanting the Huda Beauty Coral Obsessions Palette since receiving the Mauve one in my March Ipsy Glam Bag Plus, and that itself was about half the price of the whole set.  I also, of course, wanted the Trust Fund Beauty Nail Polish in Fly Private.  In the last year or so, Trust Fund Beauty changed their nail polish bottles from the awkward tall, thin, rectangles to a much more common bottle.  While it may not be as unique, it is easier to use.  Fly Private is a matte hot pink that is perfect for summer toes!  It is almost a one-coat, and the formula is not streaky like many mattes, plus the dark, bright color helps it pop, rather than just looking like I colored my nails with chalk (which is how I feel about many mattes, especially pink ones).

April 2019 Ipsy Glam Bag Plus

A lot of new-to-me brands this month with some pleasant surprises. The items I received were:

• Lovecraft Beauty Blush Palette (a $39 value)
• Paris Hilton Skincare ProD.N.A. Dual-Action Cleansing Gel (a $29 value)

• Benefit Cosmetics High Brow Eyebrow Highlighter (a $22 value)

Lovecraft Beauty was a nice find this month, but I think my favorite is actually the Paris Hilton Skincare cleanser. All told, this $25 Ipsy Glam Bag Plus has a value of $180!

March 2019 Ipsy Glam Bag Plus

Of all the combinations of items for Ipsy Glam Bag Plus this month, this is exactly what I would have picked for myself. The items I received were:

• RealHer I Am Adaptable Matte Liquid Lipstick (a $14 value)
• Huda Beauty Obsessions Palette in Mauve (a $27 value)
• F.A.R.A.H Brushes 5-Piece Eye Perfection Set (a $50 value)
• Benefit Cosmetics Dandelion Shy Bean Liquid Highlighter (a $26 value)

I would have been happy with any of the Huda palette, and I would have to say that is my favorite this month.   All told, this $25 Ipsy Glam Bag Plus has a value of $141!

February 2019 Ipsy Glam Bag Plus

This month's Ipsy Glam Bag Plus had a good mix of makeup, tools, and skincare.  The items I received were:

• Nyx Professional Makeup Sweet Cheeks Blush Palatte (a $20 value)
• Tarte Double Duty Dream Big Eyeshadow Palatte (a $30 value)
• Hanalei Sugar Lip Scrub (a $25 value)
• IT Cosmetics Heavenly Luxe Flat Top Buffing Foundation Brush (a $22 value)
• Finding Ferdinand Lip Stick in Nob Hill (a $130 value)

I was very excited to get the lip scrub which I had been hoping to get last month.  I was not expecting Nyx to be included in Glam Bag Plus, but I really like this blush palette.  All told, this $25 Ipsy Glam Bag Plus has a value of $153!

January 2019 Ipsy Glam Bag Plus

This month's Ipsy Glam Bag Plus is a little more skincare heavy than I like, but that seems to be a common theme among makeup companies in January.  The items I received were:

• Wander Beauty Unlashed Volume & Curl Mascara (a $24 value)
• Vasanti Matte Crush Lipstick Pencil in Berry First Kiss (a $23 value)
• Hey Honey Good Morning Honey Silk Facial Serum (a $45 value)
• Eyeko Black Magic Liquid Eyeliner (a $22 value)
• Violet Voss Mini HG Eye Shadow Palette (a $18 value)
• Murad Skin Perfecting Lotion (a $40 value)

This month's box did have some misses for me - especially the Eyeko liner as I have so many black liners, and I don't particularly like Eyeko's liners.  Also, I wouldn't have minded two skincare products if they were more different.  While one is a serum and one is a moisturizer, they are both morning routine products.  I do really like the palette!  All told, this $25 Ipsy Glam Bag Plus has a value of $172!

December 2018 Ipsy Glam Bag Plus

DHL took FOREVER to deliver my Glam Bag Plus this month, which is why this post is so late, but this box was well worth the wait.  Ipsy decided to stop sending bags quarterly with the GBP to focus more on products, so what would have been the January bag was included as a bonus this month.  The items I received were:

• Lancome Le Monochromatique in Haute Couture (a $25 value)
• Smith & Cult Book of Eyes Palette in Interlewd (a $44 value)

All told, this $25 Ipsy Glam Bag Plus has a value of $321, which is incredibly unbelievable!
