Thoughts: I think my foil glue was getting old because it was not working as well as it used to. Also, instead of using striping tape like in the tutorial, I did a strip of silver glitter because a.) I didn't have enough silver striping tape and b.) I am horrible at applying striping tape.

The flowers were supposed to be made with a make-up brush, but I didn't have any old ones, so I tried a Q-Tip. I didn't dab it off enough before applying, so the flowers appear more solid than airy, but it worked very nicely for spotting my other nails.

Thoughts: Love this look of blue foil on black polish, and it was SO easy to do! The magazine instructions have a third step of adding crystals, but I like this as is (plus none of my crystals looked right with it).
