August 2019 Ipsy Glam Bag Plus (Includes Nail Polish)

This month's GBP had some great hits, but also a rather disappointing miss. The items I received were:

• F.A.R.A.H. Brushes Show Me Magic Eye Brush Set (a $50 value)
• Smith & Cult Nail Lacquer in Pillow Pie (a $18 value)
• Ahava Hydration Cream Mask (a $33 value)

I am a huge fan of theBalm and this palette really does contain some of their best eye and check shades.  The F.A.R.A.H. brushes are gorgeous and perform better than the last brushes I got from them, and the Tokyomilk blush oil stick is surprisingly wearable.  I knew the Ahava would be a miss for me as I am not a fan of non-sheet masks, but what disappointed me the most was the Smith & Cult nail lacquer.  Pale pink is not a color I would ever pick up on my own, but I wanted to try this formula - and it sucked.  After 3 coats, it still wasn't totally opaque and was blotchy to boot.  For an $18 polish, I expected a lot more. Anyway, all told, this $25 Ipsy Glam Bag Plus has a value of $157

March 2019 Ipsy Glam Bag Plus

Of all the combinations of items for Ipsy Glam Bag Plus this month, this is exactly what I would have picked for myself. The items I received were:

• Purlisse Butter Me Orange Creamsicle Body Butter (a $24 value)
• RealHer I Am Adaptable Matte Liquid Lipstick (a $14 value)
• Huda Beauty Obsessions Palette in Mauve (a $27 value)
• F.A.R.A.H Brushes 5-Piece Eye Perfection Set (a $50 value)
• Benefit Cosmetics Dandelion Shy Bean Liquid Highlighter (a $26 value)

I would have been happy with any of the Huda palette, and I would have to say that is my favorite this month.   All told, this $25 Ipsy Glam Bag Plus has a value of $141!

December 2018 Ipsy Glam Bag Plus

DHL took FOREVER to deliver my Glam Bag Plus this month, which is why this post is so late, but this box was well worth the wait.  Ipsy decided to stop sending bags quarterly with the GBP to focus more on products, so what would have been the January bag was included as a bonus this month.  The items I received were:

• Lancome Le Monochromatique in Haute Couture (a $25 value)
• Smith & Cult Book of Eyes Palette in Interlewd (a $44 value)
• Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick in Jealous (a $32 value)
• 111Skin Vitamin C Brightening Booster (a $180 value)

All told, this $25 Ipsy Glam Bag Plus has a value of $321, which is incredibly unbelievable!
