If you are looking to treat yourself or need to get gifts for a bunch of beauty-loving friends and family, the current Ispy Haul on Shopper, Haul-iday, is trully amazing.  For $59.99, you get the following 12 items (list taken from Ipsy), and most are full-sized:
• 6-piece THEBALM COSMETICS Mini Lip Gloss Kit
• MURAD AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser
• BOBBI BROWN Eye Opening Mascara
• 7-piece SLMISSGLAM Gold Glitter Brush Set
• R+CO One Prep Spray
• JULES SMITH Double Layer Drop Necklace
• PURLISSE Coconut Oil + Cranberry Silky Body Butter
• MOROCCAN MAGIC Organic Lip Balm in Peppermint Eucalyptus
• APTO SKINCARE Antioxidant Mask with Pomegranate
• GROW GORGEOUS Scalp Detox
• BANG BEAUTY Blush in Smoked Peach
• COLOR CLUB Nail Polish Set of 5
• Blue Sequin Makeup Bag
My favorites from this Haul are the SLMissGlam brush set, theBalm mini lip gloss set, the Jules Smith necklace, and, of course, the Color Club polish set.  Color Club was a brand that I discovered through Ipsy a long time ago, and I do like their formula and colors (no toe pics since there are five colors this time).  From left to right, the colors are Rocky Mountain High, Fingers Crossed, Killer Curves, Cherubic, and Three Wishes.

In the Box: February 2016 Birchbox

It has seemed like forever since I have received any nail polish in my Birchbox (clicking will take you through my referral link).  Well, this month I received a mini. Birchbox is where I first discovered Color Club and fell in love with the brand.  This month, I received That's My Jam, a fun raspberry color.

What other goodies did I get?  ARROW BOOST Color Enhancing Lip Balm, Borghese Purification Clay Cleanser, Catherine Malandrino Romance de Provence, Corioliss Argan Conditioning Mask.

Neon Toes

Inspiration: Color

Products: Color Club Not-So-Mellow Yellow, Foxy Mama, and Kapow!

Thoughts: Tried to do a water marble decal, but after an hour it still was not dry and got messed-up, so I just decided to do neon skittles for some summer toes.

Magical Butterfly Toes

Inspiration: Magical Butterfly on page 58 of the March/April 2015 issue of Nail It!

Products: Julie G Damsel, Art Club Nail Art Duo Black, Color Club Heirloom Pearls, Aquamarine Azulino, Breakfast At...

Thoughts: Totally cute butterfly, although the Aquamarine Azulino dominated the wings.  No way I could have painted this on my fingers, so since I did my toes, I used the brightest color for the other toes.

Soft Focus Toes

Inspiration: Desigual: Soft Focus on page 20 of the March/April 2015 issue of Nail It!

Products: Rainbow Honey 488nm, Rosey Bot, and Lemon Honey, Color Club Mod in Manhattan, Reign in Spain, Pardon My French, and London Calling

Thoughts: So many polishes; one simple look.  I actually love this, especially on my toes because from that distance, it definitely has the desired effect of the look.

Spotted the Ocean

Inspiration: Color

Products: Color Club Rule Breaker and Obsessed

Thoughts: This was my first time trying stamping, and I was surprised at how easy it was!  Unfortunately, the metallic and glitter were messing with my camera, and my pictures did not come out very well.

2014 Plaid

Inspiration: Color

Products: Color Club Mod in Manhattan, Lakur Chimes of the City, CoverGirl Glowing Nights Glosstini #AfterDark, Nabi New Emerald

Thoughts: Plaid came back in 2014 in a big way, so why not celebrate NYE with some on my nails!  I love this color combination and was very impress with the two brands I used that were new to me.

Holiday Toast Toes

Inspiration: Color

Products: Color Club On the Rocks and Top Shelf

Thoughts: I love metallics on my toes, and even though it is cold and my feet are mainly covered, I had to put these two colors immediately on after receiving them in a swap.

Fierce Power

Inspiration: Color

Products: Color Club Feverish and Fierce, Art Club Nail Art Duo Black

Thoughts: I love Color Club's current Seven Deadly Sins collection of matte glitter!  Fierce is such an awesome take on a classic red glitter, and Feverish compliments it nicely.  These two came as a set on Zulily (clicking will take you through my referral link), and while this set is no longer available, they do have some other Color Club sets for only $8.99.

Brush Off

Inspiration: Brush Off on page 75 of the September/October 2014 issue of Nail It!

Products: Color Club French Tip, Macaroon Swoon, Je T'aime, La Petite Mint-sieur, and Holy Chic!

Thoughts: I am not the best dry-brusher (set-painting-wise) unless I have the perfect beat-up, paint-glued brush, so I was not sure how this would turn out.  I didn't get the really cool brush strokes, but instead an equally amazing watercolor feel.

Ombre Dots

Inspiration: Ombre Dots on page 75 of the September/October 2014 issue of Nail It!

Products: Color Club Insta-This and French Tip, Essie Bobbing for Baubles, Rainbow Honey 488nm

Thoughts: The tutorial said to use a bobby pin, but I had a dotting tool, so I just went with that.  I must have done well with my dots because my husband asked if it was "one of those stick on thingies" and was surprised when I said I had done them myself.  I did forget that 488nm looks different on my nails than it does in the bottle and on my swatch wheel, so it was more teal than I wanted; I probably could have used Julep Annie for a truer light blue, but I do like 488nm better.

Cool Camo

Inspiration: Cool Camo on page 76 of the September/October 2014 issue of Nail It!

Products: Color Club Breakfast At..., London Calling, and Wild Cactus, Ruffian Ruffian Cire Noir

Thoughts: This was fun and easy, although I think it looks a little more like modern art than camo.  Slight tangent, here - why is this love green shade called Breakfast At...?  It is definitely green, not blue!

Beetle

Inspiration:  Nail It! Nailtini Nail Art Contest #2

Products: Color Club La Petite Mint-seur, Rainbow Honey Tessellate, and Art Club Nail Art Duo Black

Thoughts: To celebrate their partnership with Nailtini this month, Nail It! Magazine is running three Instagram contests based on the mood boards for each of their three polishes.  This last contest is based on fiery beetles and iridescent fashion.  I decided to do a beetle as an accent nail.

Frozen

Inspiration:  Nail It! Nailtini Nail Art Contest #1

Products: Color Club Aquamarine Azulino, Indie Polish Joni, and Rainbow Honey Waves

Thoughts: To celebrate their partnership with Nailtini this month, Nail It! Magazine is running three Instagram contests based on the mood boards for each of their three polishes.  The first contest focuses on Ritz Fizz and is all about glaciers and iridescent clothing.  I tried to combine these two elements an came up with a spiky gradient that reminds me of Frozen.

Chevron

Inspiration: Maria's Chevron Mani on page 46 of the July/August 2014 issue of Nail It!

Products: Color Club Status Update, Art Club Nail Art Duo Black, Orly Masked Ceremony

Thoughts: I love grey manis!  This one is so simple yet elegant.  My chevrons aren't perfect, but they still turned out great.

Neon Pop

Inspiration:  Color

Products: Color Club Foxy Mama, Do the Twist, Not-So-Mellow Yellow, Go-Go Green, Kapow!, and British Invasion

Thoughts: I am in love with these color combos!  These neons are so bold and the white hexagons in these glitters totally make them pop.

80s Party Line

Inspiration:  Color

Products: China Glaze Platinum Silver, Color Club Tweet Me, tenoverten Spring

Thoughts: Here's a simple retro look that I never would have tried if one of my employees had not told me to paint my nails chartreuse.  Tweet Me went on fine over the Platinum Silver, but Spring gave me a lot of trouble.  I have never tried tenoverten before this, so I cannot say if it was a formula or something else.

Malibu Skittle

Inspiration:  Color

Products: Essie Bobbing for Baubles, Julep Monaco, Bess, and Harriet, Color Club Silver Lake

Thoughts: I have been wanting to try a skittle mani, but couldn't figure out what colors to use.  When I saw similar colors to these paired together, I decided to go for it.  I love how the fingers for a gradient with a pop of guava on the thumb.

Flotsam and Jetsam

Inspiration:  Flotsam and Jetsam on page 113 of the May/June 2014 issue of Nail It!

Products: Essie Bobbing for Baubles, Indie Polish Joni, Art Club Nail Art Duo White, Color Club Look Book, and Finger Paints Wild for Art

Thoughts: The current issue of Nail It has a some nautical themed ideas, including some tutorials.  I skipped the last step (which was to outline in black), but I think these turned out cute.  I do need a better gold striper, though.
